The 2008 edition of Tracking the Hurricanes is the third DVD that we have produced. It follows up our 2004 and 2005 productions with a tradition of excellence in re-telling the stories of the hurricane season as only we can. The nation was suffering a growing recession, jobs were being lost by the hundreds of thousands, gas prices were at record levels and yet the hurricanes did not stop. After a two year lull from any major activity, the 2008 hurricane season would again set records and leave once pristine coastal areas in ruins. The DVD chronicles the 2008 season from TS Cristobal on the NC Outer Banks to hurricane Kyle in eastern Maine. In between are Dolly, Fay, Gustav, Hanna and Ike. You will be there as we work to gather data and deploy our remote camera units to capture incredible video of storm surge, wind damage and fascinating time lapse sequences.
Complete with an original music score, composed exclusively for this DVD, Tracking the Hurricanes: 2008 is a must-have for any weather video collection. The 98 minute program features a powerful and moving chapter covering hurricane Ike in Texas. Order your copy today and see hurricane history through our eyes.
